HAUNTED HOUSE?!

So. I'm close to 22 weeks and I really want to attend opening night if a haunted house near me. Should I go? I didn't even think about being pregnant when I agreed to take the tickets. I have an OB appointment on Monday, and I plan on asking them too. I'm just curious what all of you think?

I say no. If it truly is haunted I’m not trying to have no boogy-ty attach to my baby or some shit 😂🤚🏼🤚🏼🤚🏼🤚🏼✝️✝️✝️✝️

I heard the issue is that it being dark and people running, can't see clearly, are drunk etc you risk someone bumping into you or you falling.

If your used to that type of stuff go ahead. If you were later in your pregnancy maybe a different story. I know my friend got passed to go and she’s 28 weeks.

I wouldn’t, it could possibly increase your blood pressure and if you suffer from any anxiety it wouldn’t be good for you. Some haunted houses may even have certain rules for pregnant women too. But also, just my opinion 😄

UPDATE* I went to the haunted house. My OB cleared me to go. It was the most fun I've had during this pregnancy so far. I was scared, but the amount of fun I had out weighed everything!

I would say no, just because of an experience my mom had. We were walking through a haunted house (she was first in our group) and a teenage female who was in front of her freaked out and backed up into my mom and completely head-butted her right in the face. Even though she was a small female teenager, she managed to smash the back of her head into my moms face and cracked her really hard right in the nose and forehead. Blood gushing everywhere and possibly a concussion (it was inconclusive). Even if you do well with those situations, I would be nervous of the other people around you!

If your heart rate accelerates and you get scared at those then I’d take a pass.
Fear spikes your cortisol (stress) levels, which goes directly to the fetus. Therefore any avoidable stressors should be...you know...avoided lol.
