We are Spanish and we invited both men and females. Its just a big party were we all come to celebrate the soon birth to our babies! I mean they are a Big part of conceiving lol... 😂

We made sure people knew ours was to be co-ed my husbands grandpa even came, and he had never been to a baby shower before. My husbands sister was a tad bit salty because she already has 2 kids 😳😳 not a lot of men showed up, especially not from my family- I assumed it would have been opposite. We all had a great time though and our baby girl got spoiled with all her gifts. My dad catered for us, we had smoked pork and smoked brisket, my dad isnt a big baby shower person either but my mom thinks hes more excited about this kid than he was for my niece (he adores her and shes spoiled too) but I'm his "favorite" and I wont give him as much hassle to see his grandkids like my brother. 
Tldr; do what makes you feel comfortable, people, or rather men in particular, wont come if they're not comfortable themselves.

I’m not having one this time but for our first, it was women and children and my husband showed up at the end to help clean up. It’s really more about preference.

We are both hispanic and have huge families so Im doing just women because if not its way too many people, and even then just women is like 60-70 people!

Not having a shower this time, but with my first I wanted him there, but my MIL wouldn’t let him come, said it was women only. I hated it because it’s his child too.

We’re doing women only. I wouldn’t care if it was coed but my husband doesn’t care about being there so if my husband isn’t there then other guys don’t need to be lol

We made sure it was unisex so my fiancé wouldn’t have to be around all women. Because let’s be honest , he would have been on his phone the whole time or trying to make small talk with a lot of people he wouldn’t usually talk to on a daily basis. It turned out great & we even had 2 games for only men so everyone was included!!
