What do you think of the name dandelion? Dandi for short ? I really like unusual names but my partner does not but he does really like this name as much as me which is a huge surprise !

The sound of the flower itself has a nice ring but I definitely wouldn't use it as a name as it's a weed...not really the nicest flower name for a girl. There is plenty of lovely choices for unique flowers/plant related, how about: Marigold, Fern, Florence, Flora, Ivy, Olive, Holly, Amaryllis, Aster, Daisy, Poppy, Daphne, Viola, Dahlia, Magnolia, Lilac??
My favorites are Daphne, Magnolia (nn Maggie) and Dahlia :)

Wow some women on here are just down right horrible when it comes to other people’s ideas of names , the people saying how the child would be bullied are the type of women who WOULD be the bully and would judge the child by their name ! Although I wouldn’t personally choose the name I think it is a really nice unique name especially the nickname dandi !
