Breastmilk (TMI)

I had my son January 2017 and I breastfed him until February/March of 2018. I’ve had the paragard iud since March 2017 so I know I’m not pregnant but I recently noticed some white dots on my nipples, when I squeeze my nipple, breastmilk comes out. Now that I’m paying a little closer attention, I noticed that milk won’t come out on it’s own but if you press on my breast or squeeze my nipple a little, milk will come out. How long did it take you guys to completely dry out? It doesn’t really bother me but I’m curious since it’s been several months since we stopped breastfeeding.
