Did anyone skip the 3hr?

I had gd with my previous pregnancy.  They had me do the 1hr at 8 weeks and I passed. Now I took it again at 26 weeks and my 1hr was 161. I'm hoping I can just skip the 3hr as I'm fairly confident I have it. I have checked my sugar here and there and it's been high.

I skipped both with my 2nd pregnancy bc i just tested my sugars and saw i had it so just got set up with the diabetic counseling.  Didnt see the point in drinking that nasty drink

Well my doctor wanted me to do the 3 hr anyway so here I am. Ugh.

Gestational diabetes typically doesn't deserve develop till later in the pregnancy usually about halfway through. So if you really want accurate results I would reconsider. I was just diagnosed with GD. ☹️

I had my GD test at 18 weeks because I had it with a previous pregnancy. It was a two hour instead of a 1 hour. I failed it and thankfully didn’t have to do the 3 hour, I was just referred to a diabetic counselor and started the process of monitoring and such.

I failed the one hour at 12 weeks with my second pregnancy (I also had it with my first), and was able to just get started with checking sugars and the low carb diet.  A few of the providers gave some push back but I was persistent in not wanting to do the 3 hour, knowing I would fail it.

Did anyone skip the 3hr?
