Just found out I'm pregnant, how long should we wait to announce?

The real answer is, whenever you feel comfortable ☺️ I always believed 12 weeks before telling or announcing to everyone but I read up on a pregnancy article and it changed my mind, pregnancy shouldn’t be hidden for 12 weeks due to being in what they call the “danger zone” or after 12 weeks the “safe zone” there is no “safe or danger zone” in pregnancy, anything can happen whenever and at the end of the day, you are pregnant and if you want to scream that from the rooftops at 4 weeks then why not!! - this is for anyone who is pregnant.. there is a stigma that miscarriage shouldn’t be spoken about and if we avoid telling people we aren’t expecting until 12 weeks, then if we miscarry before 12 weeks no one will ever know about it.. well isn’t that tragic, not only have you just hidden what were the most special magical weeks of your life whilst pregnant, in secret, you now have to miscarry, the most devastating time, in secret and act like nothing happened .. I told people I was pregnant before 12 weeks, and loan and behold I miscarried at 12 weeks but I found closure in talking about it and remembering with others that my baby did exists and they will be celebrated and remembered just like every other human being ☺️

Announce when you want. There really is never a safe time. I lost my son at 21weeks but announced immediately.

I’m gonna wait until 20 weeks to tell everyone and 13 to tell close friends and work. After 12 weeks chance of miscarriage decrease dramatically.

With my first we announced at 6 weeks to family and 12 weeks to everyone else.
This pregnancy it was 10 weeks parents 15 weeks family and 20 weeks everyone else.

I announced to our immediate families at 5 weeks and to Facebook at 7 weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️ the reality is anything can happen at any time and I prefer to celebrate my pregnancy with those I love instead of hide it.

Announce whenever you feel comfortable! My husband and I told family immediately! My parents and my brother and his family are super close to us so we told them the weekend after we found out! I wanted to celebrate with them but I also knew I wanted them to be there for support if anything went wrong. I also told my three closest friends and my husband told a few of his friends. But we didn’t announce on social media till the first trimester was over! I also couldn’t hide it long I started looking pregnant at 10 weeks and was feeling really sick for a while and needed like coworkers and stuff to know so if I ran to the bathroom suddenly they didn’t have a problem.
