Well...the title says it all. I had my daughter in oct of 2017 and have my mirena inserted exactly 6 weeks later. My periods have been all over the place and I don’t really pay attention to them. I noticed I felt sick all day and then threw up. I only throw up when I’m pregnant as I had HG with my daughter. Then I thought, “I was cramping a few days ago.” And immediately bought a test. It was positive. Ironically I got pregnant on Mirena 4 years ago and ended up miscarrying at 7 weeks after my device expelled itself the day after I tested positive. I’m very conflicted. I know this pregnancy has a high chance of miscarrying. I also think I should maybe go to the ER because Mirena pregnancies have a high chance of being ectopic and I don’t really want to lose an ovary. I’m not ready for a second baby but won’t willingly terminate. Just kinda stressed. I’m not getting my hopes up with this baby surviving. Any advice anyone has is welcomed. Maybe my body doesn’t agree with Mirena because 2 pregnancies on it should be like winning the lottery.
