Flu at 17+5, help?

Question

I’ve been sick for the past couple days, chills, fever, fatigue, and everything else in between. I’ve been taking Tylenol for my fever since the doctor said Tylenol is safe. I don’t know if I should bother going to the doctor or not? I don’t want to go and have them look at me like I’m stupid for worrying..  but the fever keeps coming back and my body feels worse and worse.

You should go or call your doctor, the flu can be much worse for pregnant women. They might be able to give you something to get through it quicker, and if nothing else at least they will be aware that you were sick between appointments.

Make sure you keep your fluids up and stay hydrated and it wouldn't do any harm to ring your doctor and explain how you feel and see if they want to see you can never be too careful

You can call your doctor, but they may not be able to do much. Often, they will give tamiflu to help get through it, but that has to be started within 24 hours of symptoms starting.

I’m just getting over this it’s been 10 days, lots of fluids, rest & orange juice. Hope you feel better soon
