Is it normal to feel shy to have sex for the first time with your boyfriend? I'm more shy to him naked as I've never seen a penis before let alone erect. I feel excited but shy to see such a private part of my boyfriend's body.

This was not my experience but someone once told me that before they had sex they just hung out naked together just to get comfortable. It doesn't have to lead to anything, just sit with each other. :) If you get so turned on you wanna touch each other thats a different story. But not putting expectations on anything will assure that you go at your own pace and can stop when you want and both of you will feel safe enough to say "heck yes" when the time comes.

depends the first time I had sex I was super nervous and wouldn't get naked unless the lights were on and I had no idea what I was doing.
fast foward 2 years later when I met my now boyfriend, it was natural and there was nothing to be nervous about. I guess that's how you know it was right
