Iud pain?

I’m getting a iud in the morning. Anyone gotten one recently pp? Does it hurt. I’m scared.

Didn't really hurt,  just a little uncomfortable.. kind of felt like a annual exam

Just got mine the other day. Feels like a typical annual exam. Motrin May be your friend for a day or two, cramping and light spotting is totally normal.

It was a little uncomfortable, but not painful. Just take some ibuprofen before your appointment and you should be fine. Expect some cramping after for a day or so.

It was pretty uncomfortable for me and I had pretty bad cramps after, but i forgot to take tylenol/ibuprofen before i went in and my midwife recommended it.

When I got mine I honestly didn’t feel a thing 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m sure my cervix was still a bit open which helped.
