Trying to lose my virginity

I’m 21 and I finally feel like I’m ready to have sex. I’ve been seeing this guy for almost a year. I feel very comfortable with him and we’ve done other stuff (fingering & oral) but every time we try having actual intercourse it does not work lol.

I’m not sure if it’s me tensing up down there or if I’m not wet enough. It’s kinda frustrating for me because I just want to get my freak on lol.

Does anyone have any tips on how to prepare?
