Does it matter when I start birth control ?

My period just ended today and I wanted to start birth control tomorrow is that okay? Also does it take one week to work or a month? And around what time does everyone take their pill?

You can start tomorrow if you want. See if your pack comes with stickers to put over the days of the week, so it shows that it starts on thursday instead of sunday so you dont get confused.
I take mine at 8pm. I get off work at 7 so it gives me time to get home.

I took my pill around 8pm every night. I found during the week 8pm was my downtime so I could take it and not snooze my alarm on my phone. And during the weekend 8pm was after supper was finished and all cleaned up and if we were going out that night it was close to right before the time we'd be going out so I'd again remember to take it. Maybe try and figure out a time that works for you during the week and weekends that you're typically not really busy.

My pill is started on a Sunday. If you just start out, you’re supposed to start taking it on the Sunday after your period ends. So take your first pill on this coming Sunday. Use extra protection for the first few weeks. 😊
