Has anyone felt like the copper IUD has worsened or given them acne

So i wasnt a fan of using hormones as a form of contraception (had been on a few different bc pills) as i felt it messed with my moods, i didnt feel like myself and some had given me acne.

I got the copper iud a few months ago and ive been loving it so far however i have been getting quite bad acne on my chin. I assumed because the copper iud is hormone free this shouldnt affect my skin at all, but im starting to believe the spots are from the copper iud😩

I googled it and apparently a lot of women are experiencing this even though its not mentioned as a side effect of the iud by most doctors!! I think its something to do with zinc deficiency due to higher amount of copper being in the body.. correct me if im wrong!!

Im curious to see if anyone else has had this issue?? I thought i had found the best form of contraception that worked for me, but the acne is really getting to me as i used to have decent enough skin!!

I think im going to try up my zinc intake and see if that helps
