Why is finding an OB/GYN so hard 😫

I just don’t understand. Maybe it’s where I live? Maybe it’s my insurance but oh my GOD it’s hard AF.

Some of my issue is because of work. There’s ZERO in the city I work in so I either have to travel north or south. Which is fine with me. But the good ones in my city don’t deliver in the hospital in my city and the shitty ones never get back to me 😡 I called for an appt while on a work break and was put on hold and eventually had to hang up! Just ugh. I’m annoyed and venting

I know what you mean where I live there is only one facility with 2obs and 1 midwife and I still have to drive half hr to get to her. I’m lucky I actually like her.

It’s hard in my area to. I had Medicaid as well when I was pregnant and it was like impossible. The closest place I can get into sucks. The staff and doctors are soooo rude. Luckily when I was pregnant my doctor was super nice and helpful but i just got a letter that she left😞 so I’ll get stuck with another shitty doctor.
