will you post pics of your child?

i’m just being nosy i guess, but i am curious, is it good to shield their privacy or it doesn’t matter?

Even with an account with the most strict privacy settings possible, anyone anywhere can see everything you post if they want to. I don't want pictures of my child out there for whomever.

I don’t have any social media besides this one & I will post occasionally on here to share milestones or when he turns a certain month old but I also keep my profile hidden on here. So unless you remember one of my post, it’s most likely you won’t find it. There are too many creeps out now a days so when I do post, it’s fully clothed, never just in a diaper or in bathtub, etc.

I struggle fiercely with this. 
I did make my privacy settings higher. I unfriended 50+ people that I “knew” but really havent had a relationship with in yrs (ie high school classmates). I created a group setting of family and friends I trust. 
I want to share my joy of her when she gets here so I am sure I will
But I am also very aware once its out there its out there. 
I have concerns knowing my brother has mild intellectual functioning/autism and doesn’t understand norms - that he will send her pic to everyone. He is the worst about gossip and spreading news even when you beg him not to. 
My family is 1000 miles away so I feel even more of an urge to share pics easilyon FB instead of group texting my 6 aunts/uncles and 70+ first/second cousins.

There are a lot of creeps out there and I don't post pictures of my children hardly ever if I do it's only on my pages and it's and old picture
