is 10 days before due date too late for a baby shower??

my mom in law is throwing me a baby shower and the only day she could rent the building she wants to use is 10 days before I'm due.. is that too late and going to be hard on me to where i should ask her to cancel or should I just though it out and hope I make it.

It is never too late! You just may be holding a baby at your baby shower though.

It doesn't matter some ppl do it very early some very late but you do have to keep in mind it's Gona be tough I did it at 34 weeks and 5 days and I was dying!! But you can do it and you can just be sitting down and make it only for 2-3 hours long

I think it’s ok my sister is throwing me a sprinkle 11 days before I’m due. But I have all my essentials for baby so I don’t need anything. I’m gonna be uncomfortable but what’s new these days? And who knows...maybe I’ll have a baby to bring!

I’m due oct 14th and my family is planning my shower for oct 7th 🤷🏻‍♀️ still gonna go it’s just a coin toss of whether I’ll be pregnant or have an infant at the shower lol.

Just make sure you have the essentials just in case you have your baby before the shower. I personally think 10 days is too close and doesn’t give you enough time to really set things up. But I like to plan ahead.

My friend is throwing me a baby sprinkle 20 days before. Sprinkle is more intimate and small which is better as I won’t have energy to entertain guests. It will be more natural to be around family and close friends. 😊
