What to do..

I am only 26 weeks pregnant and I have a 1 year old.. but I’ve been thinking who is going to take care of my daughter while I have her little sister... I can have my mom but she’ll have to go to Michigan for a week.. or she can go to my dads down the street but they said they might not be able to depending on the day I go into labor.. ugh what did you do? I need advice

A lot of doula services offer services to care for your other children during labor and delivery. It might be something to look into if you don’t have close friends or family that can commit to being available to watch your her.

I went into labor early and ended up having my 21 month old in the room. He fell asleep in his stroller and we wheeled him into a corner. Slept through the whole thing.

Im dealing with this with my 2yo. Im comtemplating getting induced so I can make sure I'll have childcare. I was induced with my daughter due to high blood pressure. It wasn't horrible. I wanted to go into labor naturally this time but ive been really stressed about who will be able to watch her so Im going to talk to my doctor at my next appointment about induction.

Do you have any close family or friend that would be willing to take her? There is no way the hospital is going to let her stay with you during labor and delivery unless there is another adult to be responsible for her.

Is there anyway you can take her with you? I think at that age she wouldn't remember. Do you have a babysitter you trust?
