Visitors?

Question

Are you allowing visitors to come to the hospital to visit you and baby? If so, who? Just curious to see what everyone’s opinion on this is

I prefer visitors at the hospital than at home. They tend to stay shorter periods of time in the hospital than home. Plus, those first few weeks at home with my daughter were chaotic and I’m expecting more of that chaos this time around.

We'll have visitors at the hospital and at home. 
When we had our son there was one point where we had my parents, 5 of my brothers, and 4 of my sisters-in-law in the room. It was nuts. I knew they would all come visit but I didn't know it would be all at the same time. Not too bad though because then most of our visitors were done coming to the hospital.

My c-section is scheduled for early morning so I'm only expecting maybe our parents to come. I told everyone not to linger because I want to bond with baby and breastfeed. They can all come back later in the day. This is my third and everyone stayed for what seemed like forever last time and I was in bad pain and it was embarrassing for everyone to see me like that.

I am not having any visitors at the hospital besides my mom and other kids. I don't usually do visitors for several weeks especially since I am.due during cold and flu season. I had two other babies born in November and December. I'm starting to think I will have a few visitors at the hospital after we are moved to our recovery room due to it being sterile there but I probably will stick to my normal procedures lol.

I’m not allowing any visitors other than immediate family. It is flu season and where I live there has been lots of nasty viruses going around.

I only want my mom & significant other both at the hospital (don’t want to get irritated with visitors during labor) & for the first week or so after we come home. I don’t even want the word to get out that I’m in labor — only that I’ve had the baby — don’t want to be annoyed with phone calls & the constant question “did she have the baby yet?” 
Realistically, I know my family & this is NOT going to happen 😡

I'm allowing close friends and family to come to the hospital. Only if they are not sick though. Even family if they feel sick then they need to wait!

I'm actually calculating how to avoid visitors all together besides parents and my bff.  Even when we are home.  I can guarantee all of our crazy aunts will be trying to come over.  Long story short...if they didn't reach out to me when my Dad was sick, or when I went through two bouts of scans for brain tumors, or when things go wrong and family needs to be there....then you sure as hell are not coming over and stressing me out with a newborn.  I'm using flu season as an excuse.

No visitors, unless I have a C and am there longer than expected. Just my husband and I. I am anticipating being very vulnerable and wanting that time to be with my husband and new baby.

I’m allowing our immediate family and my bestfriend come. But other than that I want people to wait until we get home and situated.
