How much of each size do I buy??

Question

For those of you seasoned moms 😂😂 (I love the term) I need help with sizes!! 
What is a realistic amount of outfits to buy for each size? I don’t want to go overboard I need to be reasonable!

Depending on where you live I would wait before getting anything past newborn & 0-3 months. If you have different seasons and your baby is a slow or fast grower you might not have the right size at the right time.

I went to a consignment sale and went a little overboard lol. Everything was pretty much 50 cents to $1 so I didn’t feel too bad about buying too many of one size.

My son was in newborns for MAYBE a week and hes 7 weeks now and barely fits in 3 month clothing and hes 12 pounds

I just bought like 5 new born outfits and a whole plastic drawer of 0-3/3-6. 
I'm stopping there and gonna buy bigger sizes as she grows. I did buy lots of blankets though, and 0-12 month socks so I didn't have to keep buying new sizes of socks for a while.

I buy maybe 1 or 2 newborn outfits because I have big babies. 
I buy mostly 0-3 months instead of newborn and 3-6 a lot.

I always but a few newborn outfits and PJs because babies can be in them sometimes for a month then lots of 0-3 and lots of other sizes

I would honestly only buy a few of each size(5-10). More then likely you will get to many clothes(newborn to like 9 months) from a baby shower if you are planning one. I found that we only really needed 9, 12, 18, and 2t, my son was in 2t by 10 months.
