What kind of discharge is this before my period?

Okay so today I wiped after going to the loo and I got this

I am due in my period tomorrow (I am on the pill and i have come on my period after three days of coming off my pill for the placebo week) and I am concerned about this discharge. Is this normal? My mum says it is but I wanted a second opinion since I have really bad anxiety and things like this make me really anxious. I am only 16 so plz don't be mean with these comments. Also I have never had sex before, just touching myself and my boyfriend
