Do I have to wait??

I had a miscarriage a week ago on 9/10, had my D&C on 9/11. My dr told us to wait one full cycle before trying again. Do I HAVE to wait? My husband feels like we should but I don’t want to wait. We were only instructed to wait 2 weeks to have sex. 
Are my chances of having another MC higher if we don’t wait?

I had a d an c on August 9th and finally have my period. I was told to wait one cycle to give the lining time to heal.

Chances of miscarriage are actually lower if you manage to get pregnant within 3 cycles of loss. I did not wait. I still didn't manage to get pregnant for nearly a year after, but most docs dont say you need to wait.

A MC is very traumatic on your body...waiting a little more time would probably be appreciated. Dont rush it, give your body some time to heal.

I had a mc on aug 11, and we didn’t wait. Got pregnant again and currently miscarrying again. This time is much harder physically. I would wait, if I could do it over again.

My doctor said it was 100% ok after my 2 week post op. She said there was nothing to worry about as long as everything looked ok in my check up and it did!

I’d wait till after first cycle, you don’t want to risk an infection

They usually just tell you to wait so it's easier for the timing of everything etc

Personally I think you should listen to your doctor, and it's what my doctor said as well. However, you will find women on here that got pregnant right away.

My dr said I could try again right after the 2 week check up. Mc is from chromosome abnormality. Also still trying after 3 months...
