Too soon?

I found my soulmate y’all!! Long story short, I left my sons father that i was with for 7 years. Our relationship was not really one anymore, there was a lot of resentment and hate. We get along great as coparents though. Found my soulmate 6 months ago. We dated for a month then he actually asked me to be his gift and we made it official. He wants a daughter so bad and so do I we’ve already talked about it but idk how to tell him I’m ready to start trying. Idk if it is too soon and if he will not want to have sex anymore if I bring it up or if he will be happy about it . I don’t know how to bring it up to him.  I have one boy and he has two boys and we both really want to try for a baby girl but over all we want a baby of our own. How do I tell him ?

For me, I would need to know someone longer than 6 months before I would know if I wanted a child with them.

Honestly I’m a very private person and I don’t usually put my business out there even to family but I’m going to tell you (and everyone else on this thread lol) what the past year was like for me. A little back story is I was in a mentally and emotionally abusive relationship/marriage for a few years. He constantly was on multiple dating apps even after busting him and telling him to stop. Random girls i didn’t know were finding me on Facebook sending me screen shots and telling me what he was doing while i worked two jobs to provide for us while he sat at home and went to school 2 days a week without a job. I begged him to stop and he simply didn’t care, it finally got to the point where I was emotionally numb and immune to him hurting me anymore so I just focused on myself. Should have left him long before BUT months go by and last October my sister had a real small intimate wedding weekend (like 20 people max) my husband of course didn’t come. So we all go to bed the night before the wedding and Im the first one awake the day of the wedding so I go in the living room and just sit on the couch scrolling through Facebook. I hear someone come out and it was her husbands best friend who got there in the middle of the night and let me tell you when he walked out he immediately caught my full attention. I just said good morning and he took his puppy out. As the day goes on decorating and such we’re just chit chatting every once in a while, the ceremony goes off and at the reception we basically sat in the corner and talked the whole time to each other. Which I didn’t even realize til my sister said something to me a few months later 😂 Might I add he knew I was married and we didn’t talk about anything personal.

The next morning he had to leave and drive back to New Orleans (I lived in Orlando) so we just exchanged Snapchats and he left. Talking every once in a while just to say hi. 2-3 months pass and January comes and we start talking everyday so got pretty close then I finally made the decision to leave my husband and start “dating” this guy. Yes some people will get salty cause technically I left him for another man but oh well 🤷🏼‍♀️ Let me tell you girl it was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. We started dating in mid February while taking trips back and forth to New Orleans at least once a month I finally moved here beginning of July. I’ve literally never been more happy with my life. We’re very close so we’ve talked about babies and he knew i had baby fever from the start. We’ve been together 7 months now and we’re expecting or first baby together (I’m 12 weeks) and just got engaged 2 days ago. He’s my soulmate and when you know, you know. Don’t worry about the timeline or how soon it is. If he’s the right guy it will all work out with ease. All within a year ♥️♥️
