Heart flutters like a little butterfly flapping its wings

I'm 10.5 weeks today and went on fire my first appointment. No tests or ultrasound yet (got blood stream today but was told first ultrasound would be in another 5-6 weeks). But then the midwife decided to look for a heartbeat with a doppler and kept warning us that it was early and not to freak out if she couldn't find it... It was very noisy and there was nothing as she kept moving the wand about my tummy, right above my pubic bone and then all of sudden there it was!

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH really fast and light, like a mouse. I looked at my husband grinning just to see him trying not to cry! Holy shit, we made a human!!
