Hi everyone.

I babysit for a family about 3 times a week, and have for about a year and a half now. The kids, a boy and a girl, are 9 and 7.

Unfortunately, one of their dogs passed away today. Tomorrow I’m babysitting them, and I just wanted to know if any of you moms/babysitters out there had any advice?

I’m really close with the family, so I bought the parents a sympathy card, a toy for the other dog, and a giant stuffed dog so when they get sad they can hug the dog (this worked for me as a kid? It’s all I could come up with at target at 10pm)
