singing her to sleep

my daughter usually watches tv to fall asleep or uses the tablet. i know.... bad and lazy mom. anyways i was so tired of it. she was losing sleep, i didn’t know what time she was sleeping and i obviously know it’s not right and healthy.. so i took it away one night and never gave it back at night time. that night i sang with her itsy bitsy spider , wheels on the bus and daddy finger and she fell asleep! i was like whoa, that will probably never happen again.

now for the past 4 nights i sing her to bed 😍😍 she will tell me what to sing, she enjoys it for 5 minutes or so and then starts getting sleepy.

i know it’s a small thing but it warms my heart because it won’t be like this for long it brings joy to me knowing i’m putting her to sleep by singing to her.
