Wtf. I'd be so disgusted if my child did that. I don't know if I could ever look at them the same way again... I would definitely turn them in. This wasn't petty theft or an accidental thing. This was cold blooded murder with full intent.

Yes because the alternative is him probably running from the cops and getting shot and killed... I'd rather walk him in and help him through the process than see him die.

I would definitely turn my child in. If my child wants to act grown and think he can just take another persons life then he can be grown in prison answering for his actions. I don’t care if it ruined his life forever because he would then he a convicted of murder, he should have considered that before he did what he did. Whoever commented saying the cops can do their job... smh...

My mom took us all to the police station when we shoplifted. I think I was like 4 or 5. I think mine was gum from kay bee toys store. It was The grape gum that looked like an orange juice container. I was eating it right in front of the lady she didn’t care. It was like 25 cents. My Mom of course blew it up like I shot up the place and took hostages lol . Had to go back to the store. Pay for it and make sure they gave it to a deserving child had to sweep the store and clean it as my community service. Took us to the police station. Had to have time out in a jail cell. Had to sit and talk to the chief of police that was a friend of the family. And then sit in the back of the cop car and took a ride while they turned on the sirens. He loved me and said he couldn’t wait for me to get in trouble again after ibleft. My mother wanted to scare us straight. Needless to say we no longer steal anything lol.

I think the majority of people want what’s best for their kids, not just their kids’ happiness. In this case, he needed to have consequences to his horrible decisions. I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it was for the mom, but she did the right thing.
