Pumping schedule - help!
My daughter is six weeks old and I just started pumping so that I could introduce the bottle to her. I'll need to send her to daycare with bottles when I go back to work in February, and I've heard that babies might refuse the bottle if you don't introduce it early enough.
Someone told me I should pump immediately after I breastfeed my baby, and pump on the opposite breast. Does this sound right? Or should I pump at a different time? I've read some things online that say you should pump 30 to 60 minutes after breastfeeding. 🤷🏻♀️
Also, i've only gotten 1.5 to 2 ounces during each of my pumping sessions. Is this normal in the beginning? Will I be able to pump more eventually?
