Doctors appointments- how often ?

Ill start off with saying im 12 weeks pregnant (due March 31) went in for an initial doctors appointment to confirm pregnancy and do a complete blood work.    I booked an ultrasound on September 6th and the tech said everything looked good.     It's now September 18th.  Shouldn't the doctor have contacted me ?  Do I call them ?  How often do you go in for appointments ?  (I've had 2 failed pregnancies prior - 1 ectopic , 1 early miscarriage)      I dont want to look like I'm crazy calling them and not knowing what to say haha

I’ve been going every 4 weeks since my first appt. I have had my ultra sounds done at different locations. (First initial ultrasound, then NT scan, and upcoming is my anatomy scan). At my regular doctor, we’ve just been discussing the progress and checking the heartbeat.

My appointments are every 5 weeks, I went September 7th and the go again on October 11th. So just call and say you’re wondering when you should book the next appointment for and if they won’t book it yet, ask how often you should be seen and when the doctor opens their appointment book (some doctors only book 2-3 in advance but not sure if ob’s are like that).

Doctors appointments are normally about 4 weeks apart. At least mine are until I get to 20 weeks then it’ll be every 2 weeks.. and 30 weeks even more often then that.. i heard lots of doctors don’t do appointments every 2 weeks when people hit 20 weeks.. idk why mine does but I’m not going to complain 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

My appointments are 6 weeks apart right now. I’m on my third baby with the same doctor for all three pregnancies and I have them every 6 weeks until about almost the third trimester.

The typical is once a month until 3rd trimester. Then its every 2 weeks and then every week the last month. Unless you are high risk and seeing a specialist, that is the typical schedule

Hmm usually when I’m scheduled for an ultrasound I have a follow up appointment already booked (like they’re made at the same time) sometimes even just hours or days afterwards. 
If you haven’t gotten a call, that probably means all is looking great! 
I’d call and ask for a “regular prenatal” appointment to go over the ultrasound with the dr. Usually monthly is standard. So some time early October would be my suggestion. They’ll check your BMI, blood pressure, heart rate, possibly do a pap of you haven’t already, and listen to the baby. Come with a full bladder, I always forget and have to chug water in the waiting room because they won’t see you until you pee for them lol
