Hey there mamas! So I am currently 7+3 and I have my first prenatal appointment next Monday (which I have been anxiously waiting for), but I think I have an ear infection and need to go to urgent care today! A few questions I guess, will it be safe to take recommendations for meds/antibiotics from the urgent care doctor without having consulted my obgyn yet? Will they have to “confirm” the pregnancy there or conduct an ultrasound? I don’t want to take away from that special moment from my appointment on Monday that my husband is attending with me. Need some calming advice!

As a note, I have severe inner ear problems so it is a major health concern for me whenever I have a sinus or ear infection, I can’t really ignore getting treatment for them! Also I am flying on Friday and afraid if it is an ear infection and I wait until after flying, it will only be worse!
