Is it true??

Question

I have been told quite a few wise tales about pregnancy, and the latest I have heard is if the baby is on the left it’s a boy and if the baby is on the right it’s a girl.
I’m guessing that goes more for the first sonogram but I don’t think it is true, I’m TTC so I haven’t had a chance to see yet. 
Can some of y’all moms help me out on this one!
Update: just the clarify I don’t believe that they are 100% true, I was wanting to see how many people it was true for and how many it wasn’t.
When I heard about it I went back to my friends that have had babies or are pregnant and it was true for most of them. 
My grandmother has always done the ring/needle test and it has worked for the family, I want to do a list of wise tales for my baby shower if I am to become pregnant.

Haven’t heard that one. But when I was pregnant my grandmother could tell me my exact due date. Give or take a day by counting the full moons on the calendar. She would go back to when I found out. And count nine full moons. I’ll be damned if she wasn’t but a day off either way with all three. Kinda sad she ain’t around with this one to give me a hint. Said they didn’t mmmm it on the farm to find their due dates. And when the animals would birth. Shocked it worked. But it did.
