OPK help please!!

My periods really late. I came off of the pill in April and have had one period since then and my next one is really late. I decided to do an ovulation test on cycle day 38 which was five days ago and I got a positive. I took another one today on cycle day 43 and it was a really dark positive. It’s now a couple of hours later and I took another one that is even darker. The one I’ve just taken is the one in the first picture. Why is it so dark?? I even had to take the picture of it really far away for my log because it was mistaking the test line for the control line.
