27 weeks with instant swelling

I am 27 weeks today. I’ve noticed for the last few days that as soon as I stand up and walk to the bathroom or my kitchen or anything they begin to swell instantly. I already watch my sodium intake and all that due to already being diagnosed with edema this pregnancy. This is my third pregnancy and I’ve never had swelling become this severe or painful. My obgyn will not see me till my appointment next Friday. Anyone else dealing with the same issue?
