i am looking at my appointments and what will happen in each and for my 2nd appt i see breast exam. i’ve never heard of this during pregnancy

Both of my pregnancies I had this done along with a Pap smear if I hadn’t had one already. I had a different doctor for each pregnancy

I didn't technically get it for pregnancy but one of my first symptoms was incredibly sore breasts but they came on so soon after ovulation that I definitely didn't think it was pregnancy and went to the doctor to check them because it was way out in left field for me so I had a breast exam about a week after ovulation. Turns out it was just the start of my journey.

I found a lump, pretty decent size now I have another ultrasound for my left boob after the baby is born

Had during my first appointment. I strongly recommend everyone to get one in their pregnancy. My aunt was 29 and pregnant and had a breast exam, that’s how they diagnosed her breast cancer. The hormones of pregnancy progressed the cancer further so it’s great they caught it as early as they did because of that exam
