Is this a crime?

Hi y’all I’m 18 years old and when I was 7 my mom had a stroke. She’s paralyzed on her left side, and has been for the last 11 years. I don’t know anything about disability checks or like, help from the government or anything, but every month I get a check in the mail for like, $737.00 and every month my parents take it. I undersand that before I was 18 it was for me, like for clothes and school supplies and food and stuff, but like, they didn’t use it for that. Atleast I feel like they didn’t. I wanted to go to college but I didn’t have any money saved up besides what I saved, they didn’t save any of that money for 11 years for me to go to college. And they’re still taking it. I’m 18, the check has my name on it, not “to the parents of” anymore. Every month they make me sign it so it can go into my moms account, and she uses it on random shit she buys online, or my dad uses it to by random tools/outdoorsy things. This is illegal, right? Like, the check is for me, I could be using it to save up for college, or when I move out in a couple of months. I feel really privileged to get it, and I want to save it up for my life, not so they can spend it on stupid things we don’t need. My dad says when I move out I can have it, I just feel really uncomfortable and uneasy about it. But I know that if I were to take it they would get really mad at me. But at the same time, it’s a crime right? I feel really weird about it all.
