Help!!!

So I know this guy for about 3 years and I have a crush on him. When I finally told him I like him, he said that he wanted to wait until high school (Which I can’t believe that he didn’t reject me) So time skip to now, We are high schoolers now and he keeps staring at me. I talked to him and gave him my number, but he hasn’t text or anything. I don’t know if it’s just me doubting myself of him liking me or his is to too shy to text me. This is my first time actually liking someone, so I appreciate if you guys can give me tips or answers~~
