If you do date him I would be careful because you’re over 18 and he’s not so just be cautious about what you do sexually

I personally think it depends on how mature he is about it. If he's running around bragging that he's with an older girl than he might not be ready. If he's being a man about it and being cool then its ok.

I met my boyfriend when I was just 16 and he was 19!! It’s not a big gap at all!

When my husband and I started dating I was 16, a few weeks before I was 17, and he was 19 almost 20
My mom was ok with it so I was never worried about it.  But I was also very mature for my age

I’m literally in this exact relationship. I turned 19 in May and my boyfriend turns 17 in a couple weeks. I know it’s a liiiiiiiiittle iffy, but we’re on the same level mentally, intellectually, sexually, and maturity-wise, and nobody either of us knows sees anything wrong with it. He’s literally perfect for me😍😩
I will add though that the age of consent where we live (Georgia, USA) is 16, which means anything we do together is perfectly legal. If he were below the age of consent I definitely wouldn’t feel good about being together. Even if you’re not having sex, there’s still the possibility of being *accused* of statutory rape (and his parents are crazy tbh so I definitely did my research), and how are you going to prove you didn’t do anything with him?
