How much should you budget for food?

How much do you guys spend on food (grocery, eating out) every month? 
I’m family of 3 (2 adults and 3 years old) and I want to start budgeting!

About 700 dollars a month for groceries. We eat out occasionally. My husband and myself plus 3 children. 10,6&2.

I usually budget $300 a week for food, gas, misc. expenses. I would say I usually spend around $200 of it on food and sometimes we go over the $300 for the week but that’s my goal. we are also a family of 3 (me, husband, and 15 month old son). We try to buy groceries instead of eating out as much as possible.
