Any 34+ weekers born lately? Baby go to nicu??

Im in labor at 34+5 and dont know if I'll be able to see my baby before being taken to nicu..

My daughter was born at 34+5.  C-section because she was breach.  Saw her only for a moment before she was taken to NICU (husband with baby the whole time).  I was able to see her 12 hours after birth, when I was allowed to leave my bed.  She spent 3 weeks in NICU.  Now a thriving 2.5 year old with no residual issues.  Hoping the same outcome for you guys.  Today I'm 34 weeks exactly with my second.

My daughter was born 34 wk 6 days. If your baby is breathing on its own and feeding on its own he/she should be fine to stay with you..    Ask the doc all the questions you need too.. Sending you prayers..

i mean if she or he is healthy they will let then stay with you ... i think the baby has to be 5lbs and up and no breathing issues or anything

.im sure they’ll let you see that baby for at least a second...i think it all depends on how well the baby is developed.
