Announcing after miscarriage

The first time I was pregnant my SO and I told our immediate family and close friends at 6 weeks and I had a miscarriage at 8w5d. I am now 4w4d and my SO and I don’t agree on when to tell our families this time around. I am for telling them, because I know how helpful it was to have their support grieving the loss. He wants to keep it between us until 10w because he is scared. I understand his reasonings also but can anyone give me any advice on announcing after miscarriage?
