disappointing doctors appointment today

anyone else just leave your dr visits feeling really discouraged? had a meeting with an anesthesiologist today because I've got a heart condition that can cause low blood pressure under stress, so we wanted to discuss options for labor and delivery as we get closer to baby boy being here. for years I've been hoping to have as natural of a delivery as possible, and being able to have an active labor where I'm able to move around and labor in a tub or even water birth if at all possible. anesthesiologist today said he would recommend an epidural as early into labor as possible, not because he's concerned about my heart but just wants to be absolutely certain there's no problems - which I completely understand but still left feeling so discouraged and disappointed! plus with an ultrasound today where we didn't get to hardly see baby or get any answers about an Echogenic spot on baby's bowels (and technician didn't even seem to understand what we were asking about) it was just a disappointing day all around! trying not to be too discouraged or dwell on it too long, but still feeling bummed out tonight.
