When do I know it’s my period??

I lost my baby at 18 weeks. I delivered her and bled for about 2 weeks. It’s been one month since I lost her and I am bleeding again. Tuesday I bled. But no bleeding Wednesday at all. Now today (Thursday) it’s heavier. Is this a period? Or should I be concerned? My doctor office is closed today so was going to wait until tomorrow to call. We did have sex last night, but it wasn’t our first time since everything happened so wasn’t sure if that had anything to do with it.

Everyone is different. If you are in pain I would go get checked out. I’ve had 2 of them 3 years ago. At 4 and 2 months along. Prior to it from 25 i stopped heavy periods and cramps. Then they happened and it was heavy periods for at least a Year with cramps. They are finally getting better and lightening up now that I’m 40. Anything can make it heavier. Sex. Exercise. Masturbation. And anything can lighten it or make it not come from stress medication diet and heavy exercise I used to not get it the whole summer as a kid. Just take it one day at a time and take time to heal in every way. There is no timeline for grieving. Honestly it wasn’t until recently that I’ve truly made peace with it. Been single 9 months from my crappy ex of 5 years. And it was a blessing in disguise not having kids with him. I didn’t see it that way then, but i do now. Never having to deal with him again. I would have been stuck and miserable. He and I will never be friends after all that he did and all because I didn’t want to be alone. I settled for crap. He was a cheating whore who proudly admitted that he slept with over 250 women in the last 5 years we were together. On top of never caring that i was pregnant or lost the babies. I would Dump him for 6 months and miss him and take him back. And he screamed red flags and I just settled for it. Sorry I’m venting. I’m supposed to be making you feel better. I’m Truly sorry that you are dealing with this. I send you a hug. If you aren’t in any pain I wouldn’t be concerned. Complications can happen but usually are associated with some sort of pain. And just give it time to heal and cope and be patient. I passed both naturally at home. I honestly can’t remember timing. Most people don’t get it if they haven’t dealt with it themselves. Or why you can’t just get over it or stop talking about it. Especially men. Be patient with them too even though it’s so frustrating. I hope things get better.
