So today one of my bosses made a big deal because I sat down for a minute at work to eat a baked potato, but I could still see the front door. I am a hostess and we were super slow, at the time I sat down I cleaned all the tables and everything was done we didn’t have people coming in at all.

So yesterday you asked me if we had any more hostess apply so that you could become a server but you were sitting there eating a baked potato. He was like if all the tables are clean and there was no one to greet I want you to stand there in the front so you can at least open the door for them. He was like that just doesn’t sit well with me, you have to be the best hostess we have to move up.

I responded the only reason I ate back there was because Ruben our general manager said it was OK if I was hungry to get something small and eat it in the back where I can still see the door.
