Has anyone here had a “Threatened Miscarriage?” I’m 16 weeks. I had sex this morning and a few hours later I started spotting. It was light pink and never got heavy, didn’t get darker, and was only when I wiped. I went to ER. dr said cervix is closed and there was no blood in my vagina. Gave me an ultrasound too and baby was squirming in there and heart beat was good. they diagnosed threatened miscarriage but said that’s not what it was? I was just wondering why I was bleeding if my cervix was closed. Could it have been from sex?

I’m no longer spotting and I’ve been checking baby regularly on the doppler.
