NHS in the uk advertise in a leaflet handed out to woman to just give that ebf is a form of birth control effective to the rate of 98% so I’m just asking around.

Yes, me! I nurse every two hours (even throughout the night) no bottles, no pacifier, no solids. the longest my son went without nursing was when he slept for 3 hours. I'm 7 weeks pregnant.

When my son was a year old. I never got my period back before I got pregnant again. He was still nursing pretty frequently, including every 3 hours at night. He was obviously eating solid foods at this point, though. And I was not relying on it as a form of BC. I believe that after six months and after the start of solid food, they say it's not effective at all.
