Flooring quote - is this average?

Apologise if this is in the wrong place - not sure where I should post it...

We are getting our downstairs laminated with 12mm thickness oak look. Our area is around ~30m(2) and we’ve been quoted £850 for the materials and workmanship.

Is this a good price? Again, I’m not sure if this price includes disposing of our current carpet or moving furniture around etc.... however, he did a friends floor and it’s actually very good which is why we’re keen to go with this guy.

Any advice on whether or not this is a good price etc... I’d love some opinions! Thank you 😊
