Baby's first cold 🤧🤒 help?

My baby boy has his first cold. Hes 8 months old. I haven't given him any medication. It started last night.  He has a very low fever(99.8), a runny nose, and a slight cough.  He's so miserable though and I feel so bad.
My question is can I give him hyland's baby Tiny Cold Tablets? Will they hurt anything? His fever isn't high enough to give tylanol or anything. What do you guys suggest? Any other tips?

No. You don’t give an 8 month old anything for a cold. Tylenol or Motrin for fever. Nothing for cough nothing for cold.

Vick’s makes baby rub. It’s not nearly as strong but it does help. Rub it on his feet at bedtime and put socks or footed pyjamas on, small amount on his chest and small amount on his back and snuggle

Use a humidifier and if his nose is stuffy a nose frida. Don’t give anything else

I wouldn’t give him meds at his temp, a nose frida is our favorite for colds and hot shower steam will help with congestion

I put a chopped onion in fabric bag and hung it up near his crib overnight. Helps fight the cold everytime😊

First off, 99.8 isn't a fever lol so he doesn't need anything fever-related. I'd just focus on the runny nose and make sure to keep it clear. We use saline drops and vicks baby rub on our daughter's chest and the bottoms of her feet. Keep an eye on the cough as well, but he should be just fine. it's jsut a cold.
