It seems like she brushed off some things that are wrong with me. I’ve been pretty easy throughout this pregnancy, I never have too many complaints for my OB. Just the regular pregnancy symptoms. Well told her about a couple problems I’ve been having lately. One of the problems being that I had extreme pain on my left side one morning to the point where it made me sick and I almost called L&D. It wore off eventually and I self diagnosed myself with kidney stones since I have had them twice before and felt the same symptoms. So I mention that to her and she said well there is some blood in your urine so it could be possible, but never did any further tests or seemed like it was a big deal. I also have a very sore bump on my nipple that I’ve never had before, it’s not a pimple because there is no head to it. It’s almost like a cyst. It’s been very bothersome. She didn’t know what it was, and said it’s probably a pimple and to use a warm compress and it should go away. Well here I am 4 days later and it’s grown 3x the size it was before, warm compress only irritates it and it’s causing pain to my breast. I don’t understand what the point of telling my OB about issues is if she doesn’t actually know what is wrong with me or how to treat it? What should I do? I’ve been feeling sick today and have thrown up once and have had nausea on and off and I’m worried I may have an infection of some sort.
