Has anyone ever been kicked out of their parent’s house? If so, what did you do?

Yep. Kinda. I’m gay grew up in a Christian family. They hated that I was gay and put me through hell. So I got kicked out/ left. I went to my girlfriends college and lived in her dorm room for 4 months! It was very hard hiding in there but I had no where else to go. We now have an apartment thank god and I have a court order against my family saying they cannot contact me.

Never been kicked out, but my friend was. She got two jobs and slept on my friends couch for a few months and paid for all groceries, contributed to the bills and helped around the house until she could pay for her own place

If you have good friends or family friends then i would suggest you ask. also shelters aren’t as bad as they seem, get a job(s) save up for money, couch surf l, try to reason with your parents. also depends on how old u r
