Would you forgive?

My boyfriend of 5 years had a one night stand with a girl I go to school with, i found out by the girl and she later told me that he also told her to sleepover. This hurt me so much because in that same bed is where my son & I sleep. We don’t live together but I did stay with him a lot. This happened months ago but it still hurts me and all I was trying to do was show my pain and he said he couldn’t take it anymore and left. Now I’m healing from the breakup and his mistakes.

I sometimes think to myself I’d forgive him and just so we can be a happy family, this isn’t the only thing he’s done. Now that we’ve been single for little over a month he’s been basically living the single life while I’m at home with our son. I don’t want to wait for him any longer and this hurts me so much
