Due date & labor?!

Had my first appointment with my Ob today and since I’m having twins he says I won’t make it till 39 weeks I would love to push it that far. Any women that gave birth to twin at 39 weeks? 
I’m having a schedule c-section the earliest is 38 weeks. My dude date is April 27th I’m going for April 21st.

My OB said they induce between 37 and 38 weeks. They told me it was because the chance of stillbirth can increase for multiples after that.

I was told that the placenta starts failing at around 39 weeks with twins so its safer to give birth before that.  Full term is considered 37-40 so if you make it to 38 weeks I think that’s great!  I’m hoping to make it to at least 37 with mine.

My OB didn't want me to go past 39 weeks. I ended up having a csection at 35 weeks because of gestational hypertension.

That’s an awesome goal! By the time you get close to that you will want to go at 38 weeks! Haha. I had my girls vaginally and induced at 36 weeks due to one of the babies not growing properly.
